The Warrior Mom Handbook is a Bible Study for women based on God’s Word, especially the Armor of God, Ephesians 6:10-18, and the Fruit of the Spirit, Galatians 5:22-25.

In the fall of 2008, a group of women gathered to drink coffee, talk about God and our lives, and pray. We consumed our caffeine trusting that it would provide the strength and surge of energy we would need to survive the day. The conversation ended with us discussing how exhausted we were. God led us to Ephesians 6:10, the Armor of God. Later, Tracy went on a run and God gave her the name, “Warrior Moms”. Kristina penned the Bible Study and Barbara, Libby and Nicole partnered to produce it – The Warrior Mom Handbook is the result. God brought many more awesome members to the team. We pray the study blesses all who choose to be Warriors.

(Ephesians 6:10-18)
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for the saints.

(Galatians 5:22-25)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against these things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
